Quogue real estate is a distinguished mix of stately homes and quiet cottages located either on its sparkling oceanfront, shimmering bayfront or in the historic village. Dune Road leads to both spacious modern and traditional oceanfront homes and picturesque properties with docks on Quantuck Bay. In the Village, Quogue Street, anchored on both ends by two beautifully designed chapels is lined with stately trees, quiet sidewalks, and lovely homes that date from the late 19th century.

The Village of Quogue was founded in 1659 came into its own as a summer resort community in the 1890s. The Village was incorporated in 1928 thereby giving it the autonomy it needed to develop over the years at its own pace. As a result Quogue has retained the look of a traditional New England village. Estate homes with lush upland landscapes and oceanfront beach houses comprise a large share of the real estate in Quogue. The Village center serves the community with small retail and antique shops.

Quogue, just east of Westhampton, reaches from the Montauk Highway, south to the Atlantic Ocean. Between the ocean barrier beach and the upland lies portions of the Great South Bay both affording many recreational activities including boating, kayaking, swimming, surfing and fishing.

Quogue is also known for its 300-acre Quogue Wildlife Refuge, home to over 70 species of wildflowers, great blue herons, soaring osprey, and piping plover.
